Review: Baileys Almande Almond Milk Liqueur

baileys-almonde-liqueur-copyBaileys Almande Almond Milk Liqueur was released in select markets May 2016.  I found my bottle in California.  Baileys Almande does not feature their trademark Irish Cream.  It is crafted with almond milk.  My initial thought was this is a little like McDonalds serving soy burgers.  The almond milk is made from sweet almond oil and almond essence extracted from crushed almonds, cane sugar, and purified water with a touch of real vanilla.  There is no mention of the source of alcohol.  Baileys Almande is gluten free and vegan friendly. Review: Jackson Morgan Banana Pudding Southern Cream Liqueur

jackson-morgan-banana-pudding-copyJackson Morgan Banana Pudding Southern Cream Liqueur was just released.  This is their seventh whiskey cream flavored liqueur.  If you have tasted any of their other six Southern Creams, including Peaches and Cream, Peppermint Mocha, Salted Caramel, Brown Sugar and Cinnamon, Whipped Orange Cream, or Southern Bread Pudding, you are no doubt as excited as I am to try their newest offering.  Jackson Morgan Banana Pudding is crafted with the finest Tennessee Whiskey, and grain neutral spirits.  Natural fruit and spiced flavors are then infused before it is blended with real dairy cream. Review: O’Connery’s Irish Cream Liqueur

oconnerys-irish-cream-liqueur-copyO’Connery’s Irish Cream Liqueur was just released by Sazerac.  It is produced by First Ireland Spirits in Abbeyleix, County Laois, Ireland.  This is the same company that crafts the previously reviewed Feeney’s, O’Mara’s, Delaney’s, and McCormick’s Irish Cream Liqueurs.  Sazerac already has several Irish Cream Liqueurs in their product portfolio including Feeney’s.  They also have two Irish Style Irish Cream Liqueurs, Ryan’s and Blarney.  Irish Style means the cream is not from Ireland.  O’Connery’s Irish Cream is a true Irish Cream, but little product information is available at this time.  Read more »

Review: Baileys Pumpkin Spice

baileys-pumpkin-spice-liqueur-copyBaileys Pumpkin Spice was just released.  As the bottle states, this is a Limited Edition.  Could this be the start of a seasonal flavor line of Baileys Irish Cream Liqueurs?  I hope so.  Baileys Pumpkin Spice is the third pumpkin flavored Irish Cream liqueur I’m aware of.  I previously reviewed both Mollys and ODowds Pumpkin Spice Irish Cream liqueurs.  Baileys Pumpkin Spice is made with aged Irish Whiskey, grain spirits, fresh dairy cream, and natural flavors, and is bottled at 34 proof.    Read more »

Review: Sassy Girl Rum Cream

Sassy Girl Rum CreamSassy Girl Rum Cream is produced by the Dehner Distillery in Clive Iowa for Hustle 247 Inc.  It is made with real dairy cream, rum, and natural flavors.  Sassy Girl Rum Cream is part of a full line of wine, beer, and spirits created with a roaring 20’s prohibition theme, sold by Alphonse Capone Enterprises.  They are probably best known for their Tommy Gun Vodka that comes in a tommy gun shaped bottle. Review: Rogue Cow Peaches and Cream Liqueur

Rogue Cow Peaches and Cream Liqueur - CopyRogue Cow Peaches and Cream Liqueur is made with whiskey and smooth real cream.  By my count this is the second peach whiskey cream liqueur on the market.  Jackson Morgan Peaches and Cream Southern Cream Liqueur was the first.  Rogue Cow is created and packaged by private label bottler Lavecke in Mira Loma California.  Very little product information is available on the bottle and I have not found a website for Rogue Cow.  I picked up a bottle at a Kroger Grocery Store where they also sold Rogue Cow Cookies and Cream Liqueur.
