La Crema Especial Horchata Cream Liqueur - CopyLa Crema Especial Horchata Cream Liqueur is made in by Leveche Corporation, a private label bottler in Mira Loma California.  This is the same house that distributes Ron Vicaro, Hana Bay, and Whalers Rum, and O’Connor’s Irish Cream Liqueur.  Distribution of this product is limited.  I found my bottle at a Kroger Grocery store.  This is yet another Rum Chata clone, and with several very good tasting clones already on the market, La Crema Especial may have trouble finding shelf space.    Read more »

Callahans Irish Cream Liqueur is crafted by First Ireland Spirits in Abbeyleix County Laois.  This is the same house that creates the previously reviewed Feeney’s, O’Mara’s, Delaney’s, and McCormicks Irish Cream Liqueurs.  Callahans Irish Cream is a private label brand imported by World Spirits LTD.  Little product information is provided on the bottle and there is not a website for Callahans or World Spirits LTD.  Read more »

Fennellys Irish Cream Liqueur - CopyFennellys Irish Cream Liqueur is made in Clonmel County Tipperary Ireland by the Robert A Merry Company, the makers of Merrys, O’Reillys, O’Donnels, and several private label Irish Cream Liqueurs.  Fennellys starts with pure fresh cream, the finest aged Irish Whiskey and spirits.  Custom Distilled Products of Princeton Minnesota is listed as the importer and I found my bottle at Total Wine and More.  Read more »

Kavanagh Irish Cream Liqueur - CopyKavanagh Irish Cream Liqueur is crafted by Terra LTD in Ireland.  This is the house that creates some of the worlds best tasting Irish Cream Liqueurs, including Molly’s, Coole Swan, and Brady’s Irish Cream Liqueur.  I picked up my bottle of Kavanagh Irish cream at Total Wine and More.  It is made with Irish Whiskey, fresh dairy cream, and natural flavors. Caruva Horchata Cream Liqueur - CopyCaruva Horchata Cream Liqueur is contract produced by United States Distilled Products in Princeton Minnesota.  This is the same distillery that produces UV Vodka.  Caruva is crafted with Caribbean Rum, cream, and natural cinnamon flavors.  With a dozen Rum Chata clones on the market today, Caruva has stood out winning a Double Gold Medal at the 2014 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Review: Kirkland Irish Cream Liqueur

Kirkland Irish Cream Liqueur is made in Ireland.  Kirkland is the house brand of Costco, so you will need a membership to purchase this product.  The listed ingredients include fresh dairy cream, Irish Whiskey, whey spirits, and hazelnut, but the label also promises chocolate and caramel flavor.  Kirkland Irish Cream Liqueur is only available in 1.75 liter bottles, but at $15.99 a bottle, the price is comparable to a 750ml bottle of Baileys. Review: Cinnabon Cinnamon Crème Liqueur

Cinnabon Cinnamon Creme Liqueur - CopyCinnabon Cinnamon Crème Liqueur will soon be released.  It is made at the Temperance Distilling Company in Temperance Michigan.  This is the same distillery that makes the previous reviewed Adult Chocolate Milk, Leaf Vodka, and Ono Tropical Liqueur.  The bottle lists ingredients as real dairy cream, cinnamon and caramel color.  I’m guessing neutral grain spirits are omitted from the label but included in the bottle.  Read more »

Brinley Gold Coconut Rum Cream - CopyBrinley Gold Shipwreck Coconut Rum Cream was just released.  Brinley also makes five flavored rums including Spiced, Vanilla, Coffee, Mango, and Coconut.  The Brinley family has been crafting rum on St Kitts, since 2002.  At 69 square miles St Kitts is the smallest country in the Western Hemisphere.  Their Coconut Rum Cream is made with rum that is column distilled and aged for four years in oak bourbon barrels.  Real dairy cream from New York and natural coconut flavor are blended with the rum before bottling at 30 proof. Saint Brendans Peppermint Bark Irish Cream - CopySaint Brendans Peppermint Bark Irish Cream will soon be arriving on liquor store shelves as we enter what is commonly known as, the Irish Cream season.  They also have a new Salted Caramel flavor.  Saint Brendans is named for Saint Brendan the Abbot who was known for his remarkable travel.  Saint Brendans is made with two ingredients, all natural cream, and aged triple distilled Irish whiskey.  For their Peppermint Bark flavor, natural flavoring has been added.  While this is not the first mint flavored Irish Cream liqueur, Baileys no longer makes their Baileys with a hint of Mint Chocolate.
