Review: Mozart Chocolate Cream Pumpkin Spice Liqueur
Mozart Chocolate Cream Pumpkin Spice Liqueur is a seasonal release that one may say I’m very early or quite late reviewing. The nice thing is if you can still find a bottle on your favorite liquor stores shelf, it’s probably been market down in price. Pumpkin Spice, is one of several Mozart Chocolate Cream varieties that includes, Mozart Chocolate Cream, Dark Chocolate Cream, White Chocolate Vanilla Cream, and White Chocolate Cream Strawberry. MCC Pumpkin Spice is made with real pumpkin juice, bourbon vanilla, fresh cream, sugar, Belgium chocolate, West African cocoa beans, cinnamon, clove, turmeric, and a dash of chill spice, blended with the center cut of beet sugar alcohol. Fennellys Cappucino Irish Cream Liqueur is made by Robert A Merry Company in Clonmel County Tipperary Ireland. Cappucino is one of four varieties of Fennellys I found on the shelf of my local Total WIne and More store. The others include the original Fennellys Irish Cream, Fennellys Peppermint, and Fennellys Mint Chocolate. Fennellys Cappucino Irish Cream Liqueur is made with Irish whiskey, fresh dairy cream, neutral spirits, natural flavors, and caramel color. Read more

O’Donnells Strawberry Cream is produced and bottled by R.A. Merry and Company in County Tipperary Ireland. R.A. Merry creates Irish cream liqueurs and Irish country cream liqueurs for several different brands. They also produce a full line of Merrys Irish Cream Liqueurs for themselves. O’Donnells Strawberry Cream is made from grape wine, cream, neutral spirits, and natural flavor with vegetable juice added for color. O’Donnells is sold exclusively at Aldi Stores. Read more

O’Donnells Caramel Cream appears to be an Irish Cream Liqueur but it is made with grape wine, neutral spirits, cream, natural flavor, and caramel color. Because it is made from grape wine and not Irish Whiskey, O’Donnells by definition is an Irish Country Cream. O’Donnells Caramel Cream is produced by R.A. Merry and Company in County Tipperary, Ireland. O’Donnells is sold exclusively at Aldi Stores. Review: 1921 Crema De Mexico
1921 Crema De Mexico was introduced into the US in 2005. 1921 is named to commemorate the end of the Mexican Revolution. It is crafted from 1921 Blanco Tequila, Mexican cream, a blend of Mexican flavors including vanilla, cinnamon, cocoa, and caramel. A dash of coffee is added prior to bottling at 30 proof. 1921 Blanco is a premium tequila made from Highland Region estate grown Weber Blue agave. After hand selecting the agave, the pinas are sliced, then slow cooked for 72 hours, fermented with a proprietary yeast, and double distilled. As someone who thinks most things are better with cream, I’m anxious to see how 1921 Crema De Mexico tastes. Read more
Review: Appalachian Dark Chocolate Coffee Sippin Cream
Appalachian Dark Chocolate Coffee Sippin Cream was introduced November 2016. It is one of six rum cream flavors in the Sugarlands Distilling Company line of Sippin Cream, cream liqueurs. Sugarlands Distilling Company also produce several moonshine, rum, and whiskey varieties. If you are ever in or near Gatlinburg Tennessee I would highly recommend a visit to their distillery and sampling room. Appalachian Dark Chocolate Coffee Sippin Cream is made from a dairy cream liqueur base, blended with rum and flavors of dark chocolate and medium roast coffee. All six of the Sippin Creams are blended and bottled in their Gatlinburg Distillery at 40 proof. Read more
Review: Kirkland Eggnog Liqueur
Kirkland Eggnog Liqueur is produced by Levecke Corporation in Mira Loma California for Costco. It is made with real dairy cream, whiskey, spiced rum, brandy, and French vanilla. It is sold exclusively at Costco in 1.75 L plastic bottles, and priced at a $9.99. Levecke is a private label distillery that produces dozens of spirits including the previously reviewed Trader Joes Eggnog Liqueur. Read more
Review: Trader Joes Eggnog Liqueur
Trader Joes Eggnog Liqueur is made with real dairy cream, spiced rum, and French Brandy. This is my fourth eggnog liqueur review, and bottled at 29.5 proof it has the highest alcohol content. 29.5 proof is not especially high for a cream liqueur as RumChata is bottled at 27 proof and Baileys Irish Cream is bottled at 34 proof. Trader Joes Eggnog Liqueur is produced in Mira Loma California by Levecke Corporation, and it is sold at Trader Joe’s October-December, or while supply lasts. Read more
Review: Trader Joes Pumpkin Spice Liqueur
Trader Joes Pumpkin Spice Liqueur is now available for a limited time at your local Trader Joes. It is produced and bottled by Universal Brands in Princeton Minnesota. Pumpkin has become an iconic seasonal flavor in spite of the fact that pumpkin spice provides most of the flavor and aroma. Unless you are eating pumpkin pie or a pumpkin product that includes the statement “made with real pumpkin” don’t expect there to be any actual pumpkin in it. Trader Joes Pumpkin Spice Liqueur does not include an ingredient list but I’m guessing it is made with fresh dairy cream, neutral spirits, natural flavors, and caramel color. Also not included on the bottles label is a message to refrigerate after opening, but lets be honest if this tastes as good as it sounds do you really think there will be any left after Thanksgiving.
