Review: Baileys Chocolate Cherry Irish Cream

002 - CopyBaileys Chocolate Cherry Irish Cream was just launched and I was lucky enough to get my hands on a bottle a little early.  It is one of six Irish Cream flavors Baileys currently creates for the US market.  While I had heard rumblings of a new Baileys flavor to replace the recently departed Baileys with a Hint Of Mint Chocolate, I had not heard any specifics.  My initial thought was Baileys might start bringing over some of the tempting flavors they have kept on their side of the pond.  Flavors like Orange Truffle, Biscotti, or possibly even their Chocolat Luxe.  While I have not given up hope of tasting those three flavors, I am very excited to break open my bottle of their new Chocolate Cherry.  Baileys describes the taste as their Original Baileys blended with luscious chocolate and seductive dark cherries.  I can’t wait. Review: O’Connor’s Caramel Irish Cream

O'Connor Caramel Irish Cream - CopyO’Connor’s Caramel Irish Cream is made in Abbeyleix Ireland and imported by Fleetwood Distilling in Loma Mira California.  Albertson and Albertson own stores are the only retail locations I’ve found O’Connor’s.  After over one hundred spirit reviews the spirit review that has been viewed the most frequently has been my review of O’Connor’s Irish Cream.  It only makes sense that I start my second hundred reviews with their Caramel flavored Irish cream. Review: The Irishman Superior Irish Cream

The Irishman Superior Irish CreamIntroduced in 2005 The Irishman Superior Irish Cream is one of the few Irish creams made using 100% Irish Whiskey as their only spirit.  In 1999 the Walsh family bottled the first Hot Irishman an Irish Coffee drink that only required adding hot water and whipped cream to create the perfect Irish Coffee.  Imported by The Other Wine and Spirit company in Miami Florida The Irishman Irish cream was the second of many products including a line of Irish Whiskeys now created by Hot Irishman LTD. Review: Baileys Vanilla Cinnamon

Bailey Vanilla CinnamonBaileys Vanilla Cinnamon was launched in August 2013, and it is one of six flavors now available from Baileys in the US.  The offer additional flavors in different markets.  Created with Madagascar vanilla and cinnamon my first thought was this must be their responce to the success of Rum Chata.  Taller and thinner than their Original Irish Cream bottle and featuring a vanilla blossom and cinnamon stick on the label, Baileys has created a fresh look for their entire line of Irish cream liqueurs. Review: O’Connor’s Irish Cream

013O’Connor’s Irish cream is made in Abbeyleix Ireland and imported by Fleetwood Distilling in Loma Mira California, I’ve only found it at Albertson’s and Albertson’s owned grocery stores.  In the bottle the aroma is chocolate caramel and whiskey.  It pours thick to a chocolate milk color awakening sweet milk chocolate notes with a hint of whiskey.  O’Connor’s feels very thick and creamy in my mouth.
