Review: Tippy Cow Orange Rum Cream
Tippy Cow Orange Rum Cream is one of four Caribbean Rum Creams that were introduced by Midwest Custom Bottling in February 2014. This is the group behind the wildly successful Rum Chata. It is made in Pewaukee Wisconsin with fresh Wisconsin Dairy Cream, Caribbean Rum, natural flavors and artificial colors, and packaged in a quart milk style glass bottle at 14% alcohol. In case the name doesn’t give the flavor away, the orange creamsicle pictured on the label is a clue. Read more
Review: O’Connor’s Caramel Irish Cream
O’Connor’s Caramel Irish Cream is made in Abbeyleix Ireland and imported by Fleetwood Distilling in Loma Mira California. Albertson and Albertson own stores are the only retail locations I’ve found O’Connor’s. After over one hundred spirit reviews the spirit review that has been viewed the most frequently has been my review of O’Connor’s Irish Cream. It only makes sense that I start my second hundred reviews with their Caramel flavored Irish cream. Read more

Review: Avion Espresso
Avion Espresso is made in Mexico with Avion Silver tequila and real Italian espresso. It is packaged in a brown glass version of their traditional easy grip bottle at 35% alcohol. Launched in March of 2013 it joins their full line of tequila. Avion Tequila was introduced in July 2010 and they received a million dollars of free publicity as it was featured on the hit show Entourage. Cool show = Cool product. Today Avion tequila finds itself next to Patron on the top shelf in all the right places. With Avion Espresso they hope for the same fate. Read more

Cabo Wabo Diablo was introduced in September 2013 in select markets. It is made is Mexico at 35% alcohol with the highest quality Arabica beans and Cabo Wabo Blanco tequila. Cabo Wabo tequila was born in 1996 as Sammy Hagar was searching for a tequila exceptional enough to serve inside his cantina in Cabo San Lucas. Instead he decided to create his own. Review: Patron XO Cafe
Patron XO Café is a premium coffee liqueur made in Mexico with Patron Silver tequila and the pure natural essence of fine coffee. In 1989 John Paul Dejoria introduced the world to Patron tequila and while he may not have created the first premium tequila brand, he certainly is responsible for developing the premium tequila brand category. 20 years later in 2009 Patron XO Café was successfully introduced. Produced at 35% alcohol and bottled in their trademark square rounded bottle with a cork top, it is stronger than the traditional rum based coffee liqueurs, which weigh in at 20% alcohol . With the recent release of Avion Espresso, and Cabo Wabo Diablo they now have company in the tequila based coffee liqueur category. In the next few days we will review all three. Read more
Review: Alize Coco Pineapple liqueur
Alize Coco Pineapple liqueur was introduced in 2012. It is one of three flavors they developed as part their Coco line of liqueurs. Alize created the Exotic liqueurs product category in 1986 when they introduced their Original Passion flavor. Since then they have gone on to develop several other flavors. Coco Pineapple is made with passion fruit, natural coconut, and pineapple, infused with French vodka. It does contain some milk and dairy so refrigeration is required after opening. It is bottled in France at 20% alcohol and imported by Kobrand Corporation in New York. Read more
Review: Ono Pina Colada Liqueur
Ono Pina Colada liqueur is made in Temperance Michigan by the Temperance Distilling company. This is one of many different products they produce, including Adult Chocolate Milk. Described as a luscious infusion of cream, coconut, and pineapple, it is made with vodka and is produced at 20% alcohol. By using vodka instead of rum a more accurate name would be Chi Chi, but I guess you sell more bottles with the Pina Colada name. Packaged in a distinctive clear bottle with an orchid lei this is one of two flavors in the line. The other is Tropical Liqueur. Read more
