Pallini Limoncello - CopyPallini Limoncello was introduced in 1999.  It is currently the number one best selling super premium limoncello brand.  Pallini Limoncello is made with a recipe Virgilio Pallini perfected over 130 years ago.  Their limoncello is crafted using Sfusato lemons grown on the Amalfi coast of Italy.  The lemon peel is steeped in neutral alcohol with sugar added before bottling at 52 proof. Review: Forbidden Secret White Chocolate American Cream

Forbidden Secret White Chocolate American Cream was just introduced by Forbidden Brands of Pewaukee Wisconsin.  It is produced at the same distillery that creates Rum Chata, and the Tippy Cow line of rum creams.  I guess if one state should know something about cream it would be the dairy state, Wisconsin.  This is the follow up to their Dark Mocha American Cream that was previously reviewed.  It is made with chocolate, pure Wisconsin dairy cream, and Jailers Premium Tennessee Whiskey. Review: Forbidden Secret Dark Mocha American Cream

Forbidden secret american cream - CopyForbidden Secret Dark Mocha American Cream was launched January 2012 by the Tennessee Spirits Company.  It is one of three products they contract produced in Pewaukee Wisconsin at Midwest Custom Bottling.  The original plan was to move production in house once their distillery in Pulaski Tennessee, near the Alabama border was built.  The other spirits include Jailers Premium Tennessee Whiskey, and Breakout Premium 8 year old American Rye Whiskey.  By the end of 2013 The Tennessee Spirit Company discontinued production and with it their plans to open the new distillery.  Forbidden Secret Dark Mocha is made with Jailers Premium Tennessee Whiskey, pure Wisconsin dairy cream, dark chocolate, and espresso coffee and it is bottled at 30 proof.  While no information is provided as to the current owners of the Forbidden Secret brand, this is the same distillery that produces Rum Chata. Review: Gioia Luisa Limoncello Creme

Giola Luisa Limoncello Creme - CopyGioia Luisa Limoncello Crème is made with lemons grown on their family orchard in the Sorrentine Peninsula of Italy.  Within seconds of the fruit being peeled the skins are immersed into tanks containing pure grain alcohol.  The infusion process takes four days.  Once complete water and sugar is blended in.  After multiple filtrations Holland cream is added before bottling at 34 proof. Review: Blue Chair Bay Banana Rum Cream

Blue Chair Bay Banana Rum Cream - CopyBlue Chair Bay Banana Rum Cream was just released along with a Vanilla flavored rum.  While Vanilla joins their previous four year round rum varieties, Banana Rum Cream is a limited release, following their Coconut Rum Cream which was offered last fall and winter.  It is crafted with their white rum that is distilled and aged in oak barrels at the West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados.  Real cream and caramelized banana flavors are then blended before bottling at 30 proof. Review: Baileys Dulce de Leche Irish Cream Liqueur

Baileys Dulce de Leche - CopyBaileys Dulce de Leche Irish Cream liqueur was just introduced in the US.  It has been available in Mexico and the Carribean since last October.  Dulce de Leche is a popular South American confection created by slowly heating sweetened milk until it is golden in color and syrupy.  This brings the Baileys US count back up to five flavors of Irish Cream. Review: Maloneys Irish Country Cream

maloneys Irish Country CreamMaloneys Irish Country Cream is crafted by Terra’s, in Bailieboro, County Cavan Ireland.  Terra’s also creates Molly’s, and is the contract producer of Coole Swan, Brady’s, and O’Dowd’s Irish Cream.  If that’s not a full enough resume, their management team also helped build the Emmets and Baileys line of Irish Cream liqueurs.  All of these Irish Creams are produced and bottled in the original Emmets building that was later purchased by Baileys.  It is now home to Terra’s, the world’s largest family owned producer of Irish Cream liqueurs.  There are a number of things I look forward to.  This list includes the start of football season, weekend’s, vacations, and sampling Irish Cream liqueurs made by Terra’s.  Maloney’s Irish Country Cream is made with rich Irish dairy cream, premium milk chocolate, Madagascar vanilla, grape wine imported from Spain, and Irish spirits.  It is bottled at 27.8 proof, lighter than the 34 proof their whiskey based Irish Cream liqueurs are bottled at. Review: Wild Turkey American Honey

wild turkey american honey - CopyWild Turkey American Honey was introduced in 2006.  It is a blend of their Wild Turkey Bourbon and pure honey.  Wild Turkey bourbon starts with US grown corn, rye, and barley malt and pure water from the Kentucky river.  They use a continuous still distillation process and then age the bourbon in new white oak #4 Alligator char barrels.  After it is two years old it is tasted annually until it is fully matured.  Wild Turkey is a blend of 6,7, and 8 year old bourbon.  Once mature it is poured through a filtration system before it is bottled, or in this case until it is blended with pure honey and bottled at 71 proof. Review: ODowds Irish Cream Pumpkin Spice Liqueur

001ODowds Irish Cream Pumpkin Spice liqueur is one of two pumpkin spice flavored Irish creams created by Terra in Bailieboro Ireland.  The other is sold under the Molly’s label.  It is made in small batches using fresh dairy cream, aged Irish Whiskey and the finest natural ingredients.  They follow an old O’Dowd’s family recipe.   O’Dowd’s is sold exclusively at Sam’s Clubs but not every Sam’s Club carries the Pumpkin Spice flavor.
