Review: Grey Goose L’Orange Vodka
Grey Goose L’Orange vodka was introduced in 2000. It was the first flavored vodka they created. They now craft five flavors to complement their original. It is made in France with Ble Panifiable Superieur wheat grown in the Picardy region of France, and pristine spring water that has been naturally filtered through Champaign limestone from the Cognac region of France. It is distilled using a five column distillation process. Spring water filtered through double reverse osmosis is blended with the vodka before it is filtered through cellulose and carbon. Florida grown oranges are delivered to a French parfumerie where the flavors and aromas are extracted. These essential oils are then blended with their original vodka. Every liter of L’Orange contains the natural essence of 1 kilogram of fresh oranges. Read more

They use a six column distillation process that continuously freeze distills the vodka at 14 degrees. Review: Ketel One Oranje Vodka
Ketel One Oranje vodka was introduced in 2010. The Nolet family has been distilling vodka for ten generations at their distillery in Schiedam Holland. The original Ketel One vodka was introduced in 1983 and it is made with Select European wheat. They start with a column distillation process with a portion redistilled in small batches in copper pot stills. During this process the heads and tails are discarded keeping only the heart of each distillate. It is then blended with the column distilled vodka and water before charcoal filtering. The vodka then rests in tile lined tanks until it is ready. The flavors and essential oils from Italian Mandarin Oranges and Valencia oranges are extracted and refined at a flavoring house in France. This flavor is then shipped to the distillery where it is slowly infused with the vodka before bottling at 80 proof. Read more
