Review: White Claw Pineapple Vodka
White Claw Pineapple Vodka was just released along with White Claw Mango, Black Cherry, and White Claw Premium, unflavored vodka. This is not Mark Anthony Groups first spirit launch. They currently produce BEARFACE Whisky, Glendalough Irish Whiskey, and Irish Gin, and several spirits including a 100% rye vodka at Dillon’s Small Batch Distillers. White Claw vodka is made from 100% American corn distilled 5 times then filtered three times with charred coconut shells. The filtration process is pressurized to 6000 pounds per square foot to simulate the power exerted from a thirty foot wave. Natural pineapple flavor is infused by White Claw Spirits Master Blender and Ambassador Andres Faustinelli. Andres is also the Master Blender of BEARFACE Canadian Whisky. Read more
Review: Pickers Pineapple Vodka
Pickers Pineapple Vodka is one of three flavored vodkas crafted at Pennington Distilling Company in the Historic Nations neighborhood of Nashville Tennessee. The other flavors include Blood Orange and Blueberry. The distillery was established in 2011 and was originally named Speakeasy Spirits. Whisper Creek Tennessee Sippin Cream is the distillery’s flagship brand. They also produce Pennington’s Flavored Rye Whiskeys, and Davidson Reserve Fine Tennessee Whiskey. Pickers Pineapple starts with a vodka base made from non GMO corn and is distilled 11 times in a 32 foot state of the art Vendome column still that features 48 plates to remove impurities. Once distilled the spirit is filtered four times and then blended with pure Tennessee limestone water to reduce to proof. Real fruit and natural flavors are infused before bottling at 70 proof. Review: Stoli Crushed Pineapple Vodka
Stoli Crushed Pineapple Vodka was just released along with Stoli Crushed Grapefruit. Unlike their other flavored vodkas, that are made from a winter wheat vodka base, Stoli Crushed is made with a blend of 88 percent corn and 12 percent buckwheat harvested from the fertile farm fields of the Tambov region of Russia. The vodka is triple distilled and filtered four times through quartz, sand, and birchwood charcoal. Pure natural spring water from the Latvijas Balzams artesian well in Riva Latvia is blended with the vodka to reduce to 80 proof. Real juice, natural flavors, certified color and FD&C Yellow No. 5 are added before bottling at 60 proof. While this is Stoli’s first Pineapple flavored vodka, Dole Pineapple has been infused with Stoli Vodka for years and sold as a Doli Stoli at one of my favorite steakhouses, The Capital Grill. Review: Ciroc Summer Colada Vodka
Ciroc Summer Colada Vodka is a limited edition vodka available in very limited quantities at liquor stores and top hotspots nationwide. It joins a flavored vodka lineup that includes Amaretto, Apple, Coconut, Mango, Peach, Pineapple, and Red Berry. The vodka base for each of these flavors comes from a blend of Ugni Blanc and Mauzac Blanc grapes. The juice is made into a wine. The wine is distilled four times in stainless column stills by Master Distiller Jean-Sebastien Robicquet at his 500 year old family owned Maison Villevert Distillery. A fifth distillation follows in a traditional custom copper pot still at Distillerie de Chevanceaux in the South of France. Coconut, Pineapple, and other natural flavors are infused before bottling at 70 proof in an all white bottle. The Ciroc brand was first launched in 2003, but it wasn’t until Diageo partnered with Sean Combs in 2007 that the brand blew up. Combs is responsible for managing all Ciroc lifestyle branding and marketing initiatives. Read more

Smirnoff Sourced Pineapple Vodka was just released along with the previously reviewed Cranberry Apple, and Ruby Red Grapefruit flavors. Unlike the other Smirnoff flavored vodka’s that are made with their Recipe 21 vodka as a base, the Sourced line is gluten free and most likely made from a corn base. 10% real fruit juice from concentrate, with no high fructose corn syrup is blended with certified colors, before bottling at 60 proof. Review: Svedka Colada Vodka
Svedka Colada Vodka was introduced July 2012. It was their seventh flavor at the time, and it was bottled at 75 proof. Svedka now produces 12 flavors and their Colada flavor is bottled at 70 proof. This review is for their 75 proof Colada. I have yet to find their 70 proof Colada. Each 750ml bottle is made with four pounds of Swedish winter wheat. A continuous distillation process is used before the vodka is run through high performance purification columns five separate times to remove impurities. Ice cold water from Swedish springs is then blended with the vodka before natural coconut, mango, and pineapple flavor is infused. With this ingredient list, and the name on the bottle there is no doubt a Pina Colada is the inspiration for this vodka, but since it is made with vodka instead or rum a more appropriate name would be Chi-Chi.
