Review: Pinnacle Lemonade Vodka
Pinnacle Lemonade Vodka is a limited edition release introduced the summer of 2019. It is made from vodka distilled at Distillerie de la Tour in France from whole grain winter wheat grown in Northern France, and pure spring water sourced from the Charente Region. The spirit is distilled five times and then shipped to the US. Natural flavors are blended with the vodka base before bottling at 70 proof. At one time Pinnacle flavored and bottled their vodka in Frankfort Kentucky. That may still be the case but each bottles label now reads it is produced and bottled by Portfield Importers in Chicago IL. FYI, Jim Beam is headquartered in suburban Chicago. Read more

Pinnacle Pumpkin Spice Vodka is a seasonal Limited Edition vodka recently released by Beam Suntory. In 2012 Pinnacle launched their first seasonal vodka flavor, Pinnacle Pumpkin Pie. At one time Pinnacle offered 5 fall and winter seasonal vodka varieties. To say Pinnacle has been a little slow producing new flavors is an understatement. Since July 2015 when Pinnacle introduced Pinnacle Ruby Red Grapefruit Vodka they have only created Pinnacle Strawberry and Pinnacle Pumpkin Spice. Pinnacle Strawberry Vodka was released October 2016. I source spirits for review from over a dozen states. Distilleries and Wholesalers also send me product for review. At one time retailers would fight to be the first to stock any new flavor Pinnacle created in their lab. It has been several years since Pinnacle created a new flavor. When I heard of the release of Pinnacle Strawberry I searched everywhere to find it. I just found it tonight at a Total Wine and More in Minnesota. Pinnacle vodka was launched in 2002 by The White Rock Distillery in Lewiston Maine. At the time White Rock also owned the Three Olives Vodka brand which they sold to Proximo for $605 million in November 2007. Once this sale was completed Pinnacle became their lead brand. Pinnacle was acquired by Beam April 2012 who itself was acquired by Suntory in 2014, forming Beam Suntory.
