Review: Inspiro Luna Blanco Tequila

Inspiro Luna Blanco Tequila was released October 2021.  It was created by former Chicago attorney Mara Smith and Master Distillery Ana Maria Romero Mena.  Inspiro takes it’s name from the Spanish word for inspired.  Inspiro is made from 100% Blue Weber agave.  The hand harvested and trimmed the pinas are slow cooked in stainless steel autoclaves.  Once cooled the pinas are crushed and shredded to extract the sweet juice.  Two different yeasts are added in separate fermentation tanks.  Once fermented the tanks are blended.  The spirit is double distilled in alembic stills and rested for 30 days in stainless steel tanks before it spends a lunar quarter in American oak barrels and bottled additive free. Review: Spindrift Spiked Sparkling Water Variety Pack

Spindrift Spiked Sparkling Water was launched April 2021 with a limited release in the Boston, Los Angeles, and San Diego markets.  Distribution has since expanded.  What sets Spindrift apart from the other hard seltzers on the market today is the absence of “natural flavors” on their ingredients list.  While natural flavors certainly sound good, there are over 3000 chemical food additives that are classified as natural flavors.  Spindrift was the first sparkling water made with real squeezed fruit when it was introduced in 2010.  They have followed the same formula with Spindrift Spiked, as each 12 oz. slim can is made with real squeezed fruit.  Spindrift Spiked is made from an alcohol fermented from cane sugar base, and real fruit juice. Review: Dented Brick Craft Vodka

Dented Brick Craft Vodka is made from 100% locally grown corn and artesian well water that flows clean and pure from the Wasatch Mountains.  The vodka and distillery are named for the well driller who was killed in a gunfight that left impressions in the bricks of his house.  Some of those bricks were used to build the Dented Brick Distillery in South Salt Lake City.  Marc Christensen opened the distillery March 2016 with the launch of his first spirit, Antelope Island Rum.  Today they craft over a dozen spirits including vodka, gin, rum, and whiskey.  Dented Brick Craft Vodka is distilled on a custom Vendome Copper & Brass Works still, then filtered, and bottled onsite. Review: White Claw REFRESHR Lemonade

White Claw REFRESHR Lemonade will soon be arriving at your favorite adult beverage locations.  This is Mark Anthony Brands second hard seltzer lemonade.  They launched Mikes Hard Lemonade Seltzer January of 2021, driven by the success of Truly Hard Seltzer Lemonade and the 10% hard seltzer market share they achieved in their first year.  One things for sure, the growth of hard seltzer has been driven by product innovation, and if one brand finds success, another will soon follow.  Currently there are over a dozen hand seltzer lemonade variety packs on the market, but the White Claw name opens a lot of doors and if space is limited, a local or region hard seltzer brand will lose their shelf or cooler space.  Each 12 ounce slim can is made from a cane sugar alcohol base, with natural flavors, cane sugar, and 1% natural lemon juice concentrate.
