Review: Shady Fruit Real Valencia Orange Vodka
Shady Fruit Real Valencia Orange vodka is one of two new vodka flavors introduced under the Shady Fruit label. The other flavor is Real Ruby Red Grapefruit. Valencia oranges are named after Valencia Spain, but they were first hybridized by William Wolfskill in Santa Ana California. They are primarily used to create orange juice which makes it a perfect partner to mix with vodka. Their vodka base is gluten free and it is triple column distilled and filtered ten times. Shady Fruit Real Ruby Red Grapefruit vodka is one of two new vodka flavors introduced by Diageo under their new, Shady Fruit label. The other flavor is Valencia Orange. It is made with vodka that is triple column distilled and ten times filtered. Unlike Smirnoff which is also triple distilled and filtered ten times, Shady Fruit vodka is gluten free.
