Review: Smirnoff Sorbet Light Summer Strawberry
Smirnoff Sorbet Light Summer Strawberry will be introduced later this month. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a bottle a little early. It is one of six reduced calorie vodka flavors in their Sorbet Light line. I will be reviewing their other new flavor tomorrow. They start with their Recipe 21 vodka which is made with American grain that is triple distilled and filtered ten times before all natural flavors are infused. Review: Three Olives Marilyn Monroe Strawberry
Three Olives Marilyn Monroe Strawberry vodka was introduced in March 2013. It is distilled in England with English winter wheat and water from Lake Vyrnmy in Wales. It is quadruple distilled and triple filtered through charcoal. Natural and artificial flavor is added in Lawrenceburg Indiana where it is bottled at 35% alcohol. It is one of the 24 flavors Three-O now offers. After creating a vodka tribute to Sweet Tarts, Mountain Dew, and Bubble Gum with their Tartz, Dude, and Bubble flavors, they have decided to honor their first celebrity. The bottle also features a photo from the film Seven Year Itch with Marilyn standing over the subway grate with her dress billowing up. Read more

Pinnacle Strawberry Shortcake vodka was introduced June 13 2013, one day prior to National Strawberry Shortcake day. Made in Kentucky with vodka imported from France and artificial flavors, it is bottled at 35% alcohol. After years of playing second fiddle to raspberry flavored vodka, distillers seem to have discovered strawberry this year as Skyy, Svedka and Three Olives also introduced strawberry flavored vodkas in 2013. Curiously Skyy uses Wild strawberries and the other three blend their strawberry with other flavors. Read more

Wild Strawberry is their eleventh flavor in this line. Made with the natural flavors of wild strawberry, a smaller more flavorful cousin of the strawberry typically sold at grocery stores, it is bottled with their quadruple distilled, triple filtered vodka at 35% alcohol.
