Review: Blaum Bros Vodka
Blaum Bros Vodka is made at Blaum Bros. Distillery in the historic town of Galena Illinois, once the home of our 18th President of the US, Ulysses S Grant. The distillery was founded by brothers Matt & Mike Blaum who found the only way they could get along together was to drink whiskey with each other. So they decided craft spirits together. They currently produce bourbon, rye, gin, absinthe, vodka, and Hellfyre Vodka, a vodka made with Jalapenos, Habaneros, and black pepper. All of the spirits are milled, mashed, fermented and distilled on site. Blaum Bros. Vodka has been on our radar for sometime due to their unique blend of local wheat and rye. While their website still talks up this unique blend they have moved on from that blend, and now make their vodka from locally grown corn. Read more 
Review: R6 Blue Corn Vodka
R6 Blue Corn Vodka is made from a blend of 100% organic California Blue and Yellow corn mash. It is distilled 20 times in a German Kothe still and reduced to proof with reverse osmosis water and carbon filtered prior to bottling. The R6 Distillery was founded by their Head Distiller Rob Rubens. Rob fell in love with the art of distilling after an unplanned visit to a New Orleans Rum Distillery. He currently also crafts bourbon, whiskey, rye, and caramel flavored whiskey. Read more
Review: Persian Reed Vodka
Persian Reed Vodka is crafted by Stillwagon Distillery in Coos Bay Oregon with molasses and sugar from sugar cane grown in Louisiana and Texas. Stillwagon Distillery is best known for their craft rums which they make over a dozen varieties but they also craft distill gin, whiskey, falernum and vodka. Persian Reed takes its name from a historical reference to sugarcane from the Romans who found sugarcane cultivated by the ancient Persians around 300 BC. The Persians called sugarcane “the reed that produces honey without bees”. Persian Reed Vodka is small batch distilled three times and reduced to proof with pure spring water. Read more
Review: Clear Creek Vodka
Clear Creek Vodka is crafted from 14 different varietals of Non-GMO apples grown on Hood River and Yakima Valley orchards. The spirit is distilled using a 46 chamber column still and then cut to 80 proof with glacier fed spring water from Mt. Hood. The Clear Creek distillery was founded by Stephen McCarthy in Portland Oregon. His family has owned orchards in Oregon since the turn of the century. Stephen began creating award winning European style fruit brandies but sold the distillery to Hood River in 2014. In 2017 Clear Creek moved to a brand new distillery in Hood River Oregon. Review: Cascadian Vodka
Cascadian Vodka is crafted at Oregon Spirit Distillers in Bend Oregon from local winter wheat grown in Oregon’s High Desert and pure Cascade Mountain spring water. After two years of planning Brad Irwin opened the distillery in 2009. He soon started distilling and barrel aging whiskey. In addition to vodka they currently produce gin, absinthe, limoncello, bourbon, rye, and wheat whiskey. Read more
Review: Copper Bottom Vodka
Copper Bottom Vodka is small batch distilled from unrefined sugar cane at the Copper Bottom Distillery in Holly Hill Florida. Mark and Joanne Craig opened the distillery that is operated by their son and daughter in law, October 2016. They currently craft 6 different rums and Copper Bottom Vodka. In the early 1760’s the British Royal Navy started using copper sheathing to protect the bottom of their wooden boats from barnacles and bullets. They soon learned it also increased boat speed. The distillery takes its name from these vessels. The distillery itself is located in a former car wash complex but back in the 1700’s this land was part of Three Chimneys plantation, sugar mill, and rum distillery. Read more

Y Town Vodka is crafted from 100% pure cane sugar at Candella Micro-Distillery in Boardman Ohio. After a 30 year work career with stints in the telecommunications industry, aviation chartering, wedding photography, and television journalism, Bill Candella retired to golf and spend time with his family. After three months Bill needed a new challenge. His younger brother dared him to start crafting alcohol. In 2013 Bill founded Candella Micro-Distillery. They currently produce gin, rum, whiskey, brandy, black raspberry vodka, wine, and applejack. Read more
Review: Core Vodka
Core vodka is small batch crafted from apples grown, pressed, fermented, distilled, and bottled on the family farm. Golden Harvest Farms was established on a 45 acre plot by Dan and Madeline Zinke in 1957. Four generations later the family farm has expanded to 250 acres where they produce over a dozen apple varieties. Harvest Spirits Distillery was New York states 1st farm distillery. In 2007 they acquired a 400 liter custom Christian Carl still from Germany. The following year Core vodka was released. They currently craft gin, whiskey, brandy, applejack, and Blackberry Vodka. A single 750ml bottle of Core is crafted from over 60 pounds of apples. The pure apple cider is distilled three times. Core is crafted with no charcoal filtration, no sugar, and no additives. Review: Sonoma Brothers Vodka
Sonoma Brothers Vodka is distilled from California Grapes and Corn. It is crafted at Sonoma Brothers Distillery is Sonoma County California. Twin Brothers Brandon and Chris Matthies established the distillery in 2012. Brandon the Head Distillery is also a police sergeant. His brother Chris is a firefighter. This is their second vodka. Naked Spirits Vodka is crafted at Naked Spirits in Brentwood Missouri. Brandon Eckardt Co-Founded Naked Spirits in 2019. He is also the Distiller. With a belief life should be lived Unbound, Unrestrained, and Uninhibited they also craft distill 8 varieties of rum with flavors including Banana Foster, Watermelon Lemonade, Cinnamon Apple Pie, Gooey Butter Cake and Mocha Royale.
