Review: Hangar One Fraser River Raspberry Vodka

Hangar one fraser river raspberry - CopyHangar One Fraser River Raspberry vodka is crafted in small batches once a year with their original Hangar One vodka as a base.  It is made with a blend of pot distilled Vigonier grapes and column distilled American grown wheat.  Fresh red Meeker raspberries from the Fraser River Valley in Washington are macerated and distilled with this vodka.  Raspberry juice is later blended before bottling in a dark green UV bottle to protect the delicate raspberry.  Hangar One was acquired by Proximo in 2010, and while they have moved the distillation to a hangar across the street, they have not changed how they craft the vodka.  However, Fraser River Raspberry, Spiced Pear, and Chipotle are three vodka flavors that no longer appear on the Hangar One website.
