Review: High Noon Tailgate Pack
Just in time for the start of the NFL season High Noon Spirits has released their new Tailgate Pack. This is the third 4 flavor, 8 can variety pack this vodka based hard seltzer brand has released. The others include their Tropical and Pool Pack. The High Noon Tailgate and Pool Packs are Limited Time Only Releases but that may have more to do with the packs name than the flavors. The new Tailgate Pack includes two new flavors Pear, and Cranberry. The other flavors are Black Cherry and Grapefruit. With these two new flavors High Noon now offers 13 in total. Only High Noon Lemon is not included in a High Noon Mix Pack. All 13 are made from a real 5X distilled vodka base, sparkling water, and real juice. Read more 
Review: Lobos 1707 Reposado Tequila
Lobos 1707 Reposado is one of three tequila expressions in the Lobos tequila product line. The others include Lobos 1707 Joven, and Lobos 1707 Extra Anejo. They also craft Lobos 1707 Mezcal. The spirits were created as collaboration between a Spanish Master Distiller who has created sherries and brandies for almost 50 years and a Master Distiller from Mexico who has focused on tequila. LeBron James and Maverick Carter are two of the sport celebrity investors. Lobos 1707 Reposado is made from 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the rich soil of Altos de Jalisco. Once distilled the spirit rests for 6 months in American white oak. A portion of the brands extra anejo tequila is added prior to finishing in Pedro Ximenez “PX” wine barrels using the solera system method. Read more
Review: Copper Bottom Vodka
Copper Bottom Vodka is small batch distilled from unrefined sugar cane at the Copper Bottom Distillery in Holly Hill Florida. Mark and Joanne Craig opened the distillery that is operated by their son and daughter in law, October 2016. They currently craft 6 different rums and Copper Bottom Vodka. In the early 1760’s the British Royal Navy started using copper sheathing to protect the bottom of their wooden boats from barnacles and bullets. They soon learned it also increased boat speed. The distillery takes its name from these vessels. The distillery itself is located in a former car wash complex but back in the 1700’s this land was part of Three Chimneys plantation, sugar mill, and rum distillery. Read more
Review: Dos Equis Ranch Water Variety Pack
Dos Equis Ranch Water was launched June 2021. It is now available in a four flavor 12 can variety pack. While most think of Dos Equis as a Mexican Beer, few know Dos Equis began when Wilhelm Hasse a German immigrant arrived in Mexico where he founded Moctezuma Brewery in Veracruz. He first brewed Siglo XX in 1897. Dos Equis Amber Especial is brewed the same way, only the name has changed. In addition to Dos Equis Amber and Dos Equis Lager beer, Dos Equis also brews Dos Equis Lime & Salt and three flavored lagers. Each 12 ounce can of Dos Equis Ranch Water is made from a sugar alcohol base with natural flavors and weigh in with 100 calories and 4.5% alcohol. Read more
Review: Truly Berry With Real Fruit Juice Mix Pack
On August 31 Boston Beer Company announced a reformulation of their entire original Truly Hard Seltzer product line. My first thought was I need to go out and purchase the current Truly so it would be easier to compare the old and new formulas. I guess I waiting too long as the new Truly, made with real fruit juice is already on stores shelves. I selected their Berry Mix pack to review first. The previous Truly Berry Mix Pack was made with Black Cherry, Wild Berry, Blueberry & Acai, and Raspberry Lime. The new Truly Berry Mix pack has replace Blueberry & Acai with Blueberry and Raspberry Lime with Strawberry Lime. Each new Truly flavor is made with real fruit juice. 2% in 3, almost 2% in the Black Cherry. Each still weigh in with 100 calories and 5% alcohol and the great news for me is none are made with stevia leaf sweetener. Read more

Cutwater Vodka Soda is made from Cutwater Spirits award winning vodka base that was six times distilled from corn and filtered 15 times. Each 12 ounce slim can is made with 1 shot of their vodka and naturally flavored soda water. It is sold in a 3 flavor 8 can mixed pack with 2 cans of Watermelon, 2 cans of Lime, and 4 cans of Grapefruit. They also sell a Cucumber flavor in an individual flavor 4 pack. Review: Tequila Komos Reposado Rosa
Tequila Komos Reposado Rosa is crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the Highland and Lowland regions. CEO and Founder Richard Betts a Master Sommelier partnered with Tequila Orendain de Jalisco in creating the Komos brand. The Orendain family is one of the four founding families of tequila. The Komos brand also includes Komos Anejo Cristalino, and Komos Extra Anejo. The agave is slow roasted in volcanic stone ovens. The extracted juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts. After a double distillation in pot stills, the spirits rests for 65 days is French oak red wine barrels that were once or twice filled with wine from Napa and Sonoma. The tequila is then aerated prior to filling the handmade vitrified porcelain bottles that are hand dipped into a reactive glaze that changes color when fired in the oven. These beautifully crafted bottles also protect the tequila from sunlight. Read more

Y Town Vodka is crafted from 100% pure cane sugar at Candella Micro-Distillery in Boardman Ohio. After a 30 year work career with stints in the telecommunications industry, aviation chartering, wedding photography, and television journalism, Bill Candella retired to golf and spend time with his family. After three months Bill needed a new challenge. His younger brother dared him to start crafting alcohol. In 2013 Bill founded Candella Micro-Distillery. Hilton Head Distillery Toasted Coconut Rum is one of nine rums crafted at Hilton Head Distillery. The others include, Platinum White, Dark Pineapple, Island Cream, Bananas Foster, Spiced, Mountain Peak Espresso, and the just released Solera and Panela rum. They also produce Aermoor Vodka, a peach and butterscotch whiskey, and Lewis Redmond 1861 Bourbon. Joe Fenton opened Hilton Head distillery September 2016 after previously founding Dark Corner Distillery in Greenville South Carolina. HHD Toasted Coconut is made from their molasses distilled unaged Platinum White Rum base. Natural flavors are blended before bottling at 70 proof.
