Point Tart Cherry Lager is one of four beers in their Long Days series of beer. The other flavors include Mango Lager, Lime Lager, and Watermelon Mojito Lager. It is crafted with Two Row Malted barley, Mt. Hood Hops and Cherry Juice. The Stevens Point Brewery started brewing beer in 1857 and they survived prohibition by producing near beer and soft drinks. Pearl vodka is crafted in micro batches from soft Canadian winter wheat and pure water from Canadian Rocky Mountain streams. Point Pumpkin Peach Ale is one of four Limited Edition Harvest Craft creations brewed by the Stevens Point Brewery. This brewery has developed an impressive lineup of fruit flavored beers and it also brews the very tasty Cider Boys line of hard ciders. While basil is probably best known as an ingredient in spaghetti sauce, creative mixologists have been including fresh basil in their savory cocktails for years. Review: Brinley Gold Shipwreck Coconut Rum Cream
Brinley Gold Shipwreck Coconut Rum Cream was just released. Brinley also makes five flavored rums including Spiced, Vanilla, Coffee, Mango, and Coconut. The Brinley family has been crafting rum on St Kitts, since 2002. At 69 square miles St Kitts is the smallest country in the Western Hemisphere. Their Coconut Rum Cream is made with rum that is column distilled and aged for four years in oak bourbon barrels. Real dairy cream from New York and natural coconut flavor are blended with the rum before bottling at 30 proof. Read more
Review: Lunazul Blanco Tequila
Lunazul Blanco Tequila was introduced in 2008 and it is one of four tequilas crafted at Tierra de Agaves. Lunazul translates in English to Blue Moon. Lunazul was founded by Francisco Beckman a seventh generation descendant of Jose Antonio De Cuervo. He sold his stake in the family distillery in 1992 but kept his share of the agave fields. Lunazul is made with 7-9 year old estate grown 100% Blue agave. The agave is slow cooked, shredded, rinsed, and fermented with a proprietary yeast. The tequila is double distilled in small batches in a custom cognac still and then hand bottled. Read more

Smirnoff Peppermint Twist vodka was just introduced and it is available for a limited time only this holiday season. It is one of nearly 40 vodka flavors made with their Recipe 21 vodka as a base. Peppermint Twist is made with Midwest grown grain that is triple distilled and filtered 10 times. Peppermint and other natural flavors are added before bottling at 60 proof. Read more
Review: Saint Brendans Peppermint Bark Irish Cream
Saint Brendans Peppermint Bark Irish Cream will soon be arriving on liquor store shelves as we enter what is commonly known as, the Irish Cream season. They also have a new Salted Caramel flavor. Saint Brendans is named for Saint Brendan the Abbot who was known for his remarkable travel. Saint Brendans is made with two ingredients, all natural cream, and aged triple distilled Irish whiskey. For their Peppermint Bark flavor, natural flavoring has been added. While this is not the first mint flavored Irish Cream liqueur, Baileys no longer makes their Baileys with a hint of Mint Chocolate.
