3 Amigos Blanco - Copy3 Amigos Blanco Tequila is made with 100% Weber Blue agave grown in the rich red soil of the Highlands on the Gonzalez family farm where they have grown 100% blue agave for 4 generations.  Once harvested the agave pinas are cooked in small batches in a pressure cooker for 12 hours, and then crushed to release the sugars.  The juice is then fermented in stainless steel tanks for 72 hours.  It is then distilled for 2 hours separating the alcohol and impurities.  The second distillation takes 5 hours and purifies the alcohol, followed by a filtering process.The aroma is sweet roasted agave, and artichoke.  The sweet fresh agave entry is joined by citrus building to a cherry influenced flavor peak.  It fades with a peppery sting and the warm mineral finish is dry with vanilla and a hint of black licorice taste.  3 Amigos Blanco is a well crafted tequila that will mix well in a cocktail while being smooth enough to serve as a sipper.
