99 Brand Peanut Butter Whiskey was just released. 99 Brand was launched in 1997 with the release of 99 Banana’s, a 99 proof banana liqueur. Since then they have released 18, 99 proof liqueurs. More recently they have produced a 99 proof Raspberry Vodka, Peach VSOP, Apple Whisky, Vodka, Gold Tequila, and Whiskey. 99 Brands is owned by Sazerac and the spirits are produced in Louisville Kentucky. 99 Brand Peanut Butter Whiskey is made with whiskey, natural flavors and caramel color. The aroma is peanut butter, vanilla, and buttered popcorn. Additional time in the glass brings out butterscotch notes. The peanut butter thick entry is sweet and syrupy with peanut paste, caramel and simple syrup, building to a butterscotch, peanut butter frosting peak. It fades with fiery heat, vanilla syrup, and peanut butter Pop Tart taste. The salted peanut and butterscotch hard candy finish leaves a 99 proof burn. 99 Brand Peanut Butter Whiskey was not built for sipping. Sold primarily in 1.5 Oz. sample bottles the entire 99 Brand product line is meant for shooting, or sneaking into your favorite venue.
