Bacardi ages their rum in lightly charred American White Oak barrels before being filtered through a mix of charcoal made from tropical woods, and coconut shells before being infused with rock melon and coconut water. Rock Melon originates from India and Africa and it is a member of the cantaloupe family.The aroma is coconut and rum with a hint of melon. The flavor is sweet coconut rum building to a tangy melon and bitter lemon peel peak. It fades with a medium mouth warming and a peppery finish. This is a rum I would use exclusively as a mixer.
