Canteen choose to go with the vodka soda designation while High Noon positioned themselves as a hard seltzer. Canteen Spirits was founded by Daniel Barnes founder of Treaty Oak Distillery and Brandon Cason who helped build Deep Eddy Vodka before the pair co-founded Waterloo Sparkling Water. The duo have since added Canteen Gin Spritz and Cantina Tequila Soda to their product line.
