ciderboys peach country - CopyCiderboys Peach County Hard Cider is a summer seasonal cider available from March 1 – August 31.  The Ciderboys family of hard cider was introduced in Wisconsin November 2012.  Their two year round and five seasonal flavors are made in Stevens Point Wisconsin at the Stevens Point Brewery which first started brewing beer in 1857.  It is made with juice from Washington state apples that are fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks for two weeks.  The fermented cider is filtered before peach juice and natural flavors are blended.  No sugar or artificial color is added.It pours to a golden amber color with medium carbonation and a soft white head.  The aroma is fresh peach pie with a hint of yeast.  The flavor is sweet and tangy peach building to a tart apple peak before fading with some notes of apple and peach skin.  The tart mix of fresh tasting apple and peach remains in my mouth long after I’ve emptied my glass.  The Ciderboys claim to have developed a proprietary blending process that sets their ciders apart.  After tasting Peach County cider, I’m a believer.
