City Water Grapefruit

The aroma is fresh grapefruit peel.  Additional time in the glass brings out some seltzer notes.  The subtle grapefruit entry grows in intensity and becomes more present with every sip.  The body of the seltzer is both creamy and foamy.  It fades with whole grapefruit and finishes lightly dry with a sprinkle of salt and sour gummy grapefruit flavor, leaving tart and fizzy grapefruit zest taste.

Grade: B

City Water Mixed Berry

The aroma leads with blueberry.  Additional time in the glass brings out blackberry with a raspberry backing.  The sweet blueberry entry starts small.  Raspberry and blackberry arrive building to a triple berry peak.  It fades with a tart berry flavor that carries through the finish that includes bittersweet citrus peel and carbon seltzer taste.

Grade: B-

City Water Lime Coconut

The aroma leads with fresh lime.  Additional time in the glass brings out coconut gelato notes.  The natural lime juice entry is joined by coconut flake building to a fresh lime peak.  It finishes with key lime and coconut cream pie taste.

The aroma is juicy orange.  Additional time in the glass brings out tart cranberry notes.  The subtle orange entry has real orange flavor building in intensity and definition to a whole orange peak.  It finishes with a long orange peel and unsweetened cranberry taste.

Grade: B

The bottom line:  All of the City Water Hard Seltzer varieties start with  subtle flavor but the intensity builds with each sip as the long finish, no doubt the result of using real fruit oils, carries the natural fruit taste to the next sip.
