The distillery has been producing award winning rum since 1959. Reserva Exclusiva rum is crafted with sugar cane honeys, a proprietary yeast and pure water from the Terepaima National Park. The rum is distilled in ancient copper pot stills and aged for up to 12 years in small oak casks.It pours to an amber color. The aroma is molasses, vanilla, allspice, and maple syrup. The sweet vanilla and brown sugar entry is joined by allspice and builds to a caramel maple syrup peak. It fades with a warm spicy sting.
