I do agree the Don Q recipe is a little different than any I have tried. When posting reviews I usually select one of the drink recipes posted on the company’s web site. After receiving your comment I pulled up the Don Q site and I see they have changed their recipe a little so I updated my post to include that recipe. It is closer to what I have had in the past. While the original Mai Tai was made without pineapple juice, it seems most Mai Tai’s I’ve had recently now include it. Do you have a favorite Mai Tai recipe you can share?
