The vodka is finally cold stabilized and filtered.The aroma is grape wine and spicy orange zest with a hint of chocolate. The orange flavored entry is joined by chocolate taste and builds to a grape wine peak. While the entry is creamy, and the finish is very smooth, it fades with a peppery sting and finishes with full mouth warmth and spicy orange zest taste. This may be the most flavorful, unflavored vodka I’ve tasted. DSP CA Straight vodka is not for the novice vodka drinker, and priced at $40 per bottle, few novice drinkers will invest in a bottle. That said, I find this to be an intriguing vodka that is clean and well crafted.
