Review: Four Sixes Grit & Glory Ranch Water
Four Sixes Grit & Glory Ranch Water was launched September 2022 in Texas. They have expanded to several markets with a goal of National distribution. It is named for the Four Sixes Ranch in Guthrie Texas which was founded by Captain Samuel “Burk” Burnett in 1870 when he purchased 100 head of cattle wearing the 6666 brand from Frank Crowley of Denton Texas. Today they maintain a breeding herd of 6000-7000 angus cattle on 266,255 acres. January 2021 Taylor Sheridan the writer of Yellowstone and 1883 led a buying group purchasing the 6666 Ranch. Fans of Yellowstone may recall when Jimmy was hurt in a rodeo accident he was sent to work at the 6666 Ranch. Plans for a 6666 TV series on Paramount Network have been delayed due to the writers strike. Four Sixes Grit & Glory Ranch water along with Four Sixes Craft Beer are produced at LA Libations in partnership with Taylor Sheridan, and 101 Studios David Glasser. Molson Coors acquired a minority stake in LA Libations which will help with distribution. 6666 Ranch Water is made from a sugar alcohol base with carbonated water, agave syrup, natural flavors, citric acid, and real juice from concentrate. Each 12oz. can in their 4 flavor Variety 12 Pack weighs in with 5% alcohol and 110 calories.Four Sixes Ranch Water Natural Lime Juice: The aroma leads with fresh squeezed live and agave. The sweet lime entry is joined by agave syrup building to a tart lime juice peak. It fades with sour lime and finishes with creamy soda, saline, agave syrup, and a burst of lime juice.

Four Sixes Ranch Water Blackberry Pomegranate: It pours to a purple color. The aroma leads with blackberry and agave. Additional time brings out pomegranate notes. The sweet blackberry and tart pomegranate entry is joined by agave syrup at the midpoint. It fades with tangy pomegranate and juicy blackberry and finishes with tart pomegranate and lime softened by ripe blackberry and agave syrup.

Four Sixes Ranch Water Spice Habanero Juicy Mango: It pours to a cloudy peach color. The aroma leads with mango, grapefruit, and habanero peppery. The sweet peach entry builds to a spicy habanero and juicy mango peak. It fades with tart mango and agave syrup and finishes with dried mango, white grapefruit, and spicy habanero with a kick of peppery heat.

Four Sixes Ranch Water Prickly Pear Margarita: It pours to a pink color. The aroma leads with kiwi, agave syrup and lime. Additional time brings out a hint of watermelon bubblegum. The sweet kiwi entry builds to a strawberry and lime juice peak. It fades with and bubblegum and finishes with watermelon, agave syrup, and lime juice.
