These barrels were build by coopers, from European oak from trees grown in forest in Northern Spain. It pours to a rich golden butterscotch color. The aroma is vanilla, oak, green grass, apple, butterscotch, nutmeg, white almond bark, and black cherry. The creamy malted vanilla and cherry entry is joined by grape, building to a grape, oak, and cherry peak. It fades with salted caramel and blackberry. The finish is warm and semidry with oak, roasted almond, nutmeg, and berry taste.
