Gubba Rums are crafted using a technique that dates back to the 1800’s. These artisanal organic and naturally infused rums are made from pure organic cane and the finest fruits, spices, and herbs. Gubba Silver Rum is distilled at Dancing Pines Distillery in Loveland Colorado. It is unfiltered and infused with organic coconut.It pours to a cloudy lemonade color with coconut particulate floating throughout. The aroma is white rum, cane sugar, alcohol, and fresh cut coconut. The sweet cane sugar entry is joined by fresh coconut flavor building to a sugar sweet pineapple coconut peak. My first thought is, this rum is sweet. My second thought is, this rum is not too sweet. It fades with gentle warmth and a mild sting. The finish is semidry and lightly bittersweet with cane sugar and buttery coconut taste. Gubba Silver Rum is a sweet and flavorful rum, smooth enough to serve over ice, and tasty enough to want to do just that.
