The tequila is double distilled in copper pot stills. The aroma is citrus, and agave with an alcohol backing. The sweet agave and citrus entry is joined by a hint of butterscotch and vanilla. It fades with a peppery sting and earthy agave flavor, finishing semi dry and oily, with some heat, a touch of licorice, and more sting with every sip. This isn’t a bad tasting tequila, but there is not a lot of agave flavor and the finish gets a little spicier with each sip.
