Review: Marigot Bay Coconut Rum Cream

Marigot Bay Coconut Rum Cream is one of four Marigot Bay Rum Creams.  The others include Chocolate Coffee, Peanut, and Spiced.  They will soon release a Banana flavor.  Marigot Bay is made by Saint Lucia Distillers on the Western coast of Saint Lucia.  Saint Lucia Distillers was formed when the islands last two distillers on the island the Dennery and Roseau Distillers merged.  They currently produce several brands including Bounty, Admiral Rodney, and Chairman’s Reserve Rum.  Marigot Bay Coconut Rum Cream is made from Saint Lucia distilled rum, tropical coconut cream, real cream, and natural flavors.  It is bottled at 25 proof.  It pours to a milky beige color.  The aroma leads with coconut ice cream, cinnamon, nutmeg, and Caribbean rum.  The coconut cream pie entry is thick and creamy building to an adult coconut milkshake peak.  It fades with vanilla, dairy cream, and caramel with a little more Caribbean rum taste.  The finish provides gentle warmth with sweet rum, nutmeg, and coconut cream pie taste.  Marigot Bay is the thickest and creamiest rum cream I’ve tasted, and I’ve tasted quite a few.

1.5 Oz. Marigot Bay Coconut Rum Cream

1 Oz. White Rum

2 Oz. Orange Juice

4-5 Chunks of Mango

1-2 Strawberries Cut Into Pieces

Place in a Blender With Ice

Blend Until Smooth

Made in Saint Lucia

12.5% Alcohol

Score: 91
