Review: Mico Tequila Seltzer
Mico Tequila Seltzer was recently released and is available in three flavor options, Grapefruit, Lime, and Cucumber Mint. Mico translates to monkey in Spanish. The Mico brand is owned by father and son team Sabir and AJ Singh. AJ Singh worked for several years as an executive for Patron and left to create his own tequila brand. Sabir also spent several years at Patron before joining his father. After six years in development with Master Distiller Karina Aguilera Rojo at Tequila el Viejito, they launched the Mico Tequila brand. Mico Tequila Seltzer is made with their own crafted tequila. This is what sets Mico Tequila Seltzer apart from most of the other tequila seltzers on the market today. Mico Tequila Seltzer is made with small batch tequila, sparkling water, natural flavors, and a hint of agave.
Mico Lime Tequila Seltzer: The aroma leads with lime sherbet. Additional time in the glass brings out fresh agave and sliced lime. The sweet lime entry is joined by creamy agave building to a lime sherbet and blanco tequila peak. It fades with tart juicy lime, and finishes with creamy coconut, seltzer, agave, and lime peel.

Mico Grapefruit Tequila Seltzer: The aroma leads with fresh peeled grapefruit and agave. The unsweetened grapefruit entry builds to a grapefruit sorbet, agave, and creamy seltzer peak. It fades with juicy grapefruit and agave and finishes with creamy seltzer and whole grapefruit smooth agave, real tequila flavor, and a hint of mint

Mico Cucumber Mint Tequila Seltzer: The aroma leads with fresh sliced cucumber. Spearmint follows. Additional time in the glass brings out vanilla and agave. The cucumber entry is joined by a burst of fresh spearmint. Agave arrives building to a creamy seltzer and citrus peak. It fades with cucumber and finishes with lime spearmint and agave.
