The entire product line is crafted and bottled in Jalisco Mexico at the same distillery that produces their world famous tequila. Citronge Pineapple is made with the Highest quality pineapple, neutral grain spirits, and pure cane sugar.The aroma is sweet lemon, juicy pineapple, and agave. The sweet pineapple entry has pure cane sugar flavor and a thick liqueur feel. The cane sugar and pineapple flavor intensify as it warms in my mouth building to a sweet tangy pineapple peak. The warm fade has a mild sting with unaged tequila flavor. I have not seen any literature suggesting tequila is used in producing Citronge Pineapple, but the flavor and aroma is present. The finish is smooth with pineapple, lemon drop, simple syrup, and agave.
