Review: Pinnacle Pumpkin Pie Vodka
Introduced in 2012 as their first seasonal vodka flavor, Pumpkin Pie is now one of 5 fall and winter seasonal vodka flavors Pinnacle Vodka offers. 
Although it was not the first Pumpkin Pie flavored vodka, now that Modern Spirits has discontinued production of their Pumpkin Pie flavor, they are the only one. Spud Vodka offers a Pumpkin Spice flavor.
In the bottle the aroma is a combinaltion of whipped cream and vanilla cake batter. Poured in my glass the pumpkin opens up with a hint of alcohol. The flavor is whipped cream followed by pumpkin and nutmeg fading to a mild vodka finish. Additional sips bring out more pumpkin and vanilla cake batter flavors. If you are looking for a full pumpkin experience you will be disappointed. I would discribe the flavor as more a pumpkin whipped cream or pumpkin cake batter flavor.

Of the recipes Pinnacle has developed for their Pumpkin Pie Vodka the one that intrigued me the most was their Chocolate Pumpkin Pie Martini. This drink consists of 2 parts Pinnacle Pumpkin Pie Vodka, 1 part Creme de Cocoa, and 1 part chocolate milk. The flavor is chocolate cream pie. I struggle to pick up a hint of pumpkin. While the flavor is very enjoyable I would discribe this more as a grown up chocolate milk.
