Review: Pinnacle Rainbow Sherbet Vodka
Pinnacle Rainbow Sherbet vodka was introduced in April of 2013. It is made with imported French Vodka and blended with imitation flavors in Frankfort Kentucky. While rainbow sherbet comes in many flavor combinations the sherbet pictured in the dish on the Pinnacle label shows raspberry lime and orange flavors.In the bottle the aroma is orange sherbet. Poured in my glass I pick up bubble gum and lime. The flavor starts with raspberry followed by orange. Both have a sherbet feel. Not creamy like ice cream but carrying a milky gelatin taste. After some vodka heat I pick up lime on the finish.
Pinnacle has a way of layering their flavors so you don’t get a blended flavor but one that transitions like a spoonful of rainbow sherbet would as one flavor melts and the next reveals its DNA as it slowly melts against your tongue.
