Review: Rancho La Gloria Ranch Water
Rancho La Gloria Ranch water was originally launched in 2020 as Texas Ranch Water with two flavors of blue agave hard seltzer, Grapefruit, and Lime. They recently rebranded to the Rancho La Gloria name to align more with the rest of their product line which includes Rancho La Gloria Agavida, a 100% blue agave sparkling wine sold in peach, strawberry, mango, and green apple flavors, and Rancho La Gloria Cocktails. They also just announced the release of Rancho La Gloria Infused Tequila. That is available in Jalapeno Lime, and Pink Lemonade. Rancho La Gloria Ranch Water is made in Mexico with filtered carbonated water, alcohol from cane sugar and 100% blue agave, cane sugar and natural flavors. Their two newest flavors Watermelon and Tangerine, are made with real fruit juice. Each 12 ounce can weights in with 5% alcohol, and 100 calories. Rancho La Gloria Ranch Water is sold in a 12 can 4 flavor variety pack. They also produce two seasonal ranch water flavors Pickleback, and Spicy Mango.
Rancho La Gloria Ranch Water Grapefruit: The aroma leads with fresh peeled ruby red grapefruit and agave. The sweet grapefruit entry is joined by agave building to a foamy agave peak. It fades with tart grapefruit, a sprinkle of salt, and agave.
Grade: B+
Rancho La Gloria Ranch Water Lime: The aroma leads with fresh squeezed lime. The natural lime juice entry is balanced by the blue agave building to a tart lime peak. It fades with foamy seltzer and finishes with whole lime and agave taste.
Grade: B
Rancho La Gloria Ranch Water Watermelon: Made with watermelon Juice. The aroma leads with watermelon and agave. The sweet watermelon entry tastes more like real watermelon than the typical Jolly Rancher Watermelon flavor I get from most watermelon flavored products. It is joined by agave and saline building to a foamy watermelon juice and club soda peak. It fades with watermelon and lime and finishes with watermelon and agave taste.
Grade: A-
Rancho La Gloria Ranch Water Tangerine: Made with tangerine juice. The aroma leads with sliced tangerine and blue agave. The sweet tangerine entry is joined by blue agave building to a juicy Mandarin peak. It fades with foamy seltzer and finishes with creamy and tangy tangerine, saline, and agave.
Grade: B+
The Bottom Line: While I prefer my ranch water with 100% blue agave tequila there is significant real blue agave taste with all of the Rancho La Gloria Ranch Water flavors.
