Review: Redds Hard Iced Tea
Redds Hard Iced Tea was introduced in May and it is sold in variety 12 packs which also include four bottles each of Redds Hard Apple Ale and Hard Strawberry Ale. Redds Hard Iced Tea is actually an ale that is brewed in Albany Georgia. Natural apple and lemon tea flavor is then added. This product takes direct aim at the Twisted Tea line of beverages which are made in Cincinnati Ohio and are owned by the Boston Beer Company, the makers of Sam Adams beer.Redds Hard Iced Tea pours to an apple cider color with medium carbonation. The aroma is fresh pressed apples with a hint of tea. The flavor is crisp apple peaking at tart where I first pick up some lemon flavor. It fades with a lemon iced tea finish. As someone who is not an iced tea drinker I may not order another Redds Hard Iced Tea, but I can still appreciate a well made product.
