Revel Stoke Roasted Apple Whisky was just introduced. It joins a lineup of five whisky’s made by Phillips Distillers at a distillery in Alberta Canada. Those other flavors include Pumpkin, Roasted Pecan, Spiced, Cinnamon, and their Original Blended Canadian Whisky. Revel Stoke is made with a blend of rye, corn, and barley malt that is triple distilled in copper stills. The whisky is aged for 3 years in charred white oak barrels. Natural roasted apple flavors are infused before bottling at 70 proof.It pours to a golden apple juice color. The aroma is candy apple with a whisky backing. The sugar enhanced baked apple entry is thick and syrupy. Whisky flavor arrives and brings some heat and sting along with sweet vanilla and caramel apple taste on the finish. While this is a little too sweet, and the finish is not as smooth as I expected from a Canadian Whisky, the caramel whiskey apple finish tastes pretty good.
