Review: Svedka Strawberry Lemonade Vodka

Svedka Strawberry Lemonade vodka was introduced with their Mango Pineapple flavor in 2014.  It is made in Sweden with winter wheat and ice cold water from underground springs.  They distill their vodka five times and filter five times.  A natural blend of lemonade and sweet wild strawberry flavor is added before bottling at 35% alcohol.The aroma is fresh squeezed lemonade.  The bottles description claims this is a lemonade flavored vodka with strawberry.  I was not disappointed.  The lemonade taste was sweet building to a natural tart peak before strawberry joined the party.  Vodka taste was a no show as its only presence was a mild mouth warming.  Since Pinnacle launched Whipped, their whipped cream flavored vodka, everyone has been looking for the next break through flavor.  I believe Svedka has found it in Strawberry Lemonade.  While I enjoy the strawberry finish the lemonade is the star.  I hope to see it featured in future Svedka flavors.  Svedka Strawberry Lemonade is Smooth enough to serve on the rocks, and great as a base for mixed drinks.  Several exciting drink recipes are listed on the Svedka web site.  I’ve included a couple here.
