Review: Truly Citrus With Real Fruit Juice Mix Pack
The Truly brand was one of the first hard seltzers on the market and they continue to be the second most popular hard seltzer based on sales. They currently produce 34 different seltzer varieties including 8 mixed packs and 2 Harder Seltzer flavors. The Truly mix packs include three original four flavor 12 can mix pack, a hard lemonade, punch, margarita style, cocktail style, and hard iced tea four flavor mix pack. They also produce 2 Truly Extra 8% alcohol Selzer flavors. Being the second best selling hard seltzer brand and producing 34 different varieties wasn’t enough for Boston Beer Works as they once again reformulated their Original Truly Hard Seltzer flavors to now include real fruit juice. We have already given our thoughts on the new Truly Berry mix pack and next week we will move on to Truly Tropical but for now lets look at Truly Citrus.
Truly Lime: Made with 1% Lime Juice from concentrate. The aroma leads with slice lime. The sweetened lime juice entry builds in intensity to a tart lime juice peak. It fades with sweetened lime and foamy sparkling water leaving sour lime taste.
Grade: A-
Truly Grapefruit: Made with 1% Grapefruit Juice from concentrate. The aroma leads with fresh peeled grapefruit. The sweetened grapefruit entry builds to an orange and grapefruit juice peak. It fades with blood orange flavor and finishes with sweetened ruby red grapefruit and sour lemon and white grapefruit taste. Good but more of a grapefruit citrus blend than straight grapefruit taste.

Truly Citrus Squeeze: Made with 2% Orange Juice and Lemon Juice from concentrate. The aroma leads with orange. The sweet orange juice and lemon entry is joined by lime building to a juicy citrus peak. It fades with foamy sparkling water and bright orange and lemon sherbet and finishing with lime, whipped cream, and orange taste.

Truly Lemon: Made with 1% Lemon Juice from concentrate. The aroma leads with lemon soda. Additional time brings out lemon juice. The sweet lemon soda entry builds to a sweet lemon drop candy and tart lemon juice peak. It fades with Lemon Starburst and finishes bittersweet with sugary whole lemon taste.
