Review: Authentico Organic Tequila Blanco
Authentico Organic Tequila Blanco was just released by Paige and Ryne Iseminger. They also produce a Reposado and Cristalino expression. If the names sound familiar they launched Freshie Tequila Seltzer in Chicago, December 2020. The tequila is crafted at Tequila del Senor, a 4th generation family owned distillery. Their legacy relationships with some of the best agave farmers in Mexico ensure a consistent and superior product. Manuel Garcia is Gran Tequilero for the brand. Tequila del Senor is solar powered and a zero carbon distillery. They produce tequila for 23 other brands including Don Diego Santa, Herencia, and Reserva del Senor. Authentico is made with a blend of organic agave grown in both the Highland and Lowland regions. The trimmed agave is cooked in an autoclave and fermented without agave fibers with a proprietary yeast in a sealed stainless steel tank. The spirit is double distilled and bottled additive free.
