Review: Smirnoff Cucumber & Lime Zero Sugar Infusions
Smirnoff Cucumber & Lime Zero Sugar Infusions joins Strawberry & Rose, and Watermelon & Mint in Smirnoff’s just launched Zero Sugar Infusions line of vodka. Cucumber and Lime have been a popular flavored vodka combination, as Svedka, Three Olives, Burnett, and Rain have previously released their own Cucumber and Lime flavored vodkas. At 72 calories per 1.5 Oz. serving I view Smirnoff Zero Sugar Infusions and Diageo stablemate Ketel One Botanicals as the next generation of reduced calorie vodka. Previous reduced calorie flavored vodka brands include Bethenny Frankel’s Skinnygirl and Pitbull’s Voli Vodka. Both were good concepts, backed ,by popular celebrities, but both lacked an important ingredient, good taste. Neither brand currently produces a flavored vodka. Smirnoff Cucumber & Lime is made from a corn distilled vodka base. Natural flavors and essence of real botanicals are infused with the vodka base before bottling at 60 proof. Read more 
Review: Three Olives Cucumber Lime Vodka
Three Olives Cucumber Lime Vodka was just released. Three Olives Fresh Watermelon Vodka was also launched. Cucumber is a surprisingly popular vodka with over a dozen cucumber flavored vodka’s already on the market. Lime is clearly cucumbers favorite dance partner as Three Olives is the forth cucumber lime flavored vodka. At one time Three Olives made over 30 flavored vodka’s. A lot of these flavors can still be found at major liquor stores. It is unclear as to how many of these flavors are still made, but the recently updated Three Olives website only shows 12 varieties. Review: Burnetts Cucumber Lime Vodka
Burnetts Cucumber Lime Vodka was introduced April 2016. It is one of 37 flavored vodkas currently produced by Heaven Hill Brands under the Burnetts label. This is the third brand of vodka to create a Cucumber Lime Vodka flavor. The other two are Rain, and Svedka. Burnetts Cucumber Lime Vodka is made from 100% grain in Bardstown Kentucky. The vodka is quadruple distilled and triple charcoal filtered. Natural Cucumber Lime flavors are infused before bottling at 70 proof. Read more
Review: Svedka Cucumber Lime Vodka
Svedka Cucumber Lime Vodka was just released. It is one of 13 Svedka flavors currently available. Svedka is the number one imported vodka in the US. While cucumber may not be a flavor one thinks of when compiling a list of vodka flavors, this is the eighth cucumber flavored vodka I’ve reviewed, and there are probably another eight I haven’t reviewed yet. Each 750ml bottle of Svedka is made with 4 pounds of Swedish winter wheat. The vodka is distilled 5 times in a continuous distillation process. At the final stage the vodka is run through high performance purification columns five separate times to remove impurities. Natural flavors are then infused before bottling in Bardstown Kentucky.
