Review: Dorwood Vodka
Dorwood Vodka is distilled from wine grapes grown in Santa Barbara County at Dorwood Distillery in Buellton California. Jeff & Joanne Lockwood were small batch winemakers for 15 years at Bella Cavalli when they decided to open a distillery. They opened Dorwood Distillery in 2014. They currently craft Gin, Agave Blanco, Whiskey, Limoncello, Vodka, and Rusty Pelican a grape based bourbon/whiskey made from a vodka base. Dorwood Gin, and Limoncello are also made from their vodka base. Dorwood Vodka is distilled three times in a cutting edge 16 plate vodka tower and filtered six times through pure coconut charcoal.
