Three Olives Grape vodka was introduced in 2001 along with their Cherry flavor. They were Three-O’s first flavored vodka’s and the industries first cherry and grape flavored vodka. At last count they had 28 flavors in their stable. It is distilled with English wheat and water from Lake Vyrnmy in Wales at the G&J Greenalls distillery. Smirnoff Orange vodka is one of 42 vodka flavors they create with their Recipe 21 as a base. Recipe 21 is made with Midwest grown grain. It is triple distilled and filtered ten times. Iceberg Icefusion Chocolate Mint vodka is one of three vodka flavors they distill in Canada along with an unflavored vodka, two rums, and a gin. Their other flavored vodkas include a Cucumber, and Crème Brulee. It is made with Canadian grown corn and pure water melted from icebergs harvested after they have naturally separated from their mother iceberg. Review; Effen Dutch Raspberry Vodka
Effen Dutch Raspberry vodka is one of five vodka flavors Effen creates in Holland starting with a 120 year old recipe. The use Dutch grown wheat and pure spring water that has been further filtered through reverse osmosis. A low temperature continuous rectification process is used to avoid caramelization of the sugars. This eliminates the bitter after taste found in some vodkas. The vodka is then filtered five times through active carbon in a bottom up filtration process. Svedka Raspberry vodka is one of 12 vodka flavors they create in Sweden. Svedka is currently the second largest imported vodka brand in the US. Ice cold water from underground springs and four pounds of Swedish Winter wheat are used to make one 750ml bottle of Svedka. They use a continuous distillation process and then run the vodka through high performance purification columns five separate times to remove impurities. Menage a Trois Triple Citrus vodka is one of three vodka’s launched by the Trinchero Family Estates June 2014. The other two include an unflavored and a triple berry flavor. This is the same Menage a Trois that has been creating California wines for 15 years. Their vodka is made with American corn and California Mountain spring water. It is distilled six times and triple filtered. All natural flavor from California lemons, and oranges and limes from the West Indies and Baja California are then infused before bottling at 80 proof. Dripping Springs Texas Orange vodka was introduced in 2011. It is the only flavored vodka they currently craft. This follows the successful release of their Original unflavored vodka. Their vodkas are micro distilled over 20 times in small batches in proprietary handmade copper pot stills with sweet Mid-Western non GMO corn and pure mineral rich Artesian spring water. It is then slow filtered through Swedish activated carbon. Hand zested Segovia oranges from the Rio Grande Valley are steeped in the copper pot still with the vodka before it is micro distilled an additional 20 times before it is bottled at 70 proof. Ballast Point Fugu Pina vodka is one of five vodka flavors they create in San Diego. If the Ballast Point name sounds familiar you may have enjoyed some of the beer they brew, and started the company with. Ballast Point was inspired by the flavors from the neighborhood taco shops. Those flavors include spicy habanero peppers, creamy horchata. aquas fracas with sweet Jamaica Hibiscus, and juice pineapple. They start with a six times distilled corn vodka base. It is then filtered 15 times before passing through a proprietary diamond blending vortex, blending the vodka with water purified through reverse osmosis. Review: Belvedere Orange Vodka
Belvedere Orange vodka was introduced November 2003. It was originally called Pomarancza, Polish for orange. It is made in Poland with Dankowskie rye and pure Artesian water. It is distilled four times and filtering twice. The peels of sweet oranges from Southern Spain, whole Mandarin oranges from Morocco, orange blossoms, and limes are gently soaked for up to five weeks at Collonges la Rouge France. The flavors and aromas are extracted in a process called maceration. These essential oils are then blended with the vodka. No sugar or artificial flavor is added before bottling at 80 proof. Read more
