Review: Three Olives Jacked Apple Vodka

Three Olives jacked apple - CopyThree Olives Jacked Apple vodka was just introduced.  After creating a Fruit Loop flavored vodka in Loopy, it appears by the name, Three-O may have just created an Apple Jacks flavored vodka.  It is one of 27 vodka flavors Three-O creates with English winter wheat and water from Lake Vyrnmy in Wales that is quadruple distilled and triple charcoal filtered.  Natural flavors are added in Lawrenceburg Indiana where is is bottled at 35% alcohol.  With the popularity of hard apple ciders, and cinnamon flavored whiskey, the timing may be just right for the first cinnamon apple flavored vodka. Review: Tru Organic Vanilla Vodka

tru vanilla vodka - CopyTru Organic Vanilla vodka was introduced March 2008.  It is one of four vodka’s created at the Greenbar Craft Distillery in Monrovia California.  The company was formed by the husband and wife team of Melkon Khosrovian and Litty Mathew in 2004 and was originally named Modern Spirits.  Their first products included several artison flavored vodkas.  Some of those flavors included Celery-Peppercorn, Chocolate-Orange, Grapefruit-Honey, and Black Truffle.  While those flavors are no longer available they have expanded their line to include gin, tequila, rum, whiskey, and several liqueurs and bitters.  Their Organic Vanilla vodka is created with pure water and 100% organic American wheat.  23 square feet of land is needed to grow enough wheat for 1 bottle of their vodka.  It is distilled once through a state of the art column still and then charcoal filtered and combined with vapor distilled water.  5000 whole bourbon vanilla beans are then hand sliced and macerated 3-4 weeks for each 1000 gallon batch before bottling at 35% alcohol in a bottle that uses 25% less glass. Review: Absolut Berri Acai Vodka

absolut berri acai vodka - CopyAbsolut Berri Acai vodka was introduced February 2010.  Their limited edition Los Angeles flavor was the inspiration for this flavor.  Los Angeles was Absolut’s second US cities flavor and it was introduced in 2008.  LA featured the same flavors plus acerolo, a cherry native to South America that Berri Acai doesn’t have.  It is one of twenty flavored vodkas Absolut creates for the US market in Ahus Sweden.  Berri Acai is made with Swedish winter wheat and pure deep well water.  A continuous distillation process is used before all natural acai, blueberry, and pomegranate is infused.  No sugar is added before bottling at 80 proof. Review: Skyy Pineapple Vodka

skyy pineapple vodka - CopySkyy Pineapple vodka was introduced February 2009.  It is one of 13 flavored vodka’s they now create with wheat distilled in Pekin Illinois.  They then transport the alcohol to San Jose California where water that has been filtered through reverse osmosis is added.  They triple distill and filter before infusing with natural pineapple flavor. Review: 360 Mandarin Orange Vodka

360 Mandarin Orange - Copy360 Mandarin Orange vodka was introduced September 2010 by Earth Friendly Distilling, a division of McCormick Distilling in Weston Missouri.  They now produce 13 flavored vodkas.  Mandarin Orange starts with American grain that is quadruple distilled and filtered five times before it is infused with natural mandarin orange flavor.  Mandarin oranges are native to China and they were once reserved for Chinese royalty.  Satsuma, Clementine, and Tangerines are some of the varieties of Mandarin oranges. Three olives rangtangThree Olives Rangtang vodka was introduced June 2010.  It was their first colored vodka, purple was introduced one month later.  It is one of 24 vodka flavors Three-O creates with English winter wheat and water from Lake Vyrnmy in Wales that is quadruple distilled and triple filtered through charcoal.  Natural orange and tangerine flavor is added in Lawrenceburg Indiana where it is bottled at 35% alcohol.  The Rangtang name refers to an orange and tangerine mix.
