Review: Ivanabitch Cherry Vodka
Ivanabitch Cherry Vodka is one of 14 vodka flavors they create in Holland. They are probably best known for their two tobacco flavored vodka’s. Don’t expect to see me reviewing those flavors. Their vodka is made with the finest most fierce grain and cleanest spring water available. Every batch is distilled five times and then triple filtered over active charcoal. Cherry flavor is then infused before bottling at 70 proof. The brands name comes from a story about a mad Russian aristocrat Dmiti Ivanabitch who was exiled to Holland. Read more

Review: Van Gogh Oranje Vodka
Van Gogh Oranje vodka was introduced in 2000. It is one of 22 flavored vodka’s crafted by Master Distiller Tim Vos in Holland. Van Gogh starts with a blend of wheat, corn, and barley that is double distilled in small batches in a column still and then distilled again in a pot still. Purified water is blended to reduce to a proper level. Sweet Florida orange pulp and skin are then double infused for six weeks before bottling at 70 proof. Originally Van Gogh Oranje was made with Spanish Oranges but they made the switch a couple of years ago. I believe the bottle I am reviewing is made with the original Spanish oranges. Read more
Review: Skyy Infusions Coastal Cranberry Vodka
Skyy Infusions Coastal Cranberry Vodka was just introduced. They now offer 16 varieties in their Infusion line of flavored vodka. While cranberry is a very popular juice to mix with vodka, there have been relatively few cranberry flavored vodkas introduced. One that was once produced Stoli Cranberi is no longer, and two that are still available are combined with other fruits. Pinnacle Cranapple is blended with apple and Absolut Cherry combines cranberry with cherry and plum. Only someone reading the Absolut Cherry label would know cranberry was one of the ingredients. Coastal Cranberry is made with Midwestern grown wheat that is quadruple distilled, blended with water filtered through reverse osmosis, and triple filtered through California Limestone. Natural cranberry flavor is then infused. Read more

Review: Svedka Colada Vodka
Svedka Colada Vodka was introduced July 2012. It was their seventh flavor at the time, and it was bottled at 75 proof. Svedka now produces 12 flavors and their Colada flavor is bottled at 70 proof. This review is for their 75 proof Colada. I have yet to find their 70 proof Colada. Each 750ml bottle is made with four pounds of Swedish winter wheat. A continuous distillation process is used before the vodka is run through high performance purification columns five separate times to remove impurities. Ice cold water from Swedish springs is then blended with the vodka before natural coconut, mango, and pineapple flavor is infused. With this ingredient list, and the name on the bottle there is no doubt a Pina Colada is the inspiration for this vodka, but since it is made with vodka instead or rum a more appropriate name would be Chi-Chi.
