Review: High Bank Vodka
High Bank Distillery takes its name from the designation applied to the site of the new state capital which moved from Chillicothe Ohio, to the high bank of the Scioto River in Columbus in 1812. Adam Hines and Jordan Helman began planning for the distillery and a restaurant in 2014. They met each other through work. Adam and his State of Design company completed projects with Zest Juice, co-owned by Jordan and his wife. Part of their plan included Adam attending and graduating from Moonshine University in Louisville Kentucky. They opened their first location in 2018 in the Grandview area of Columbus. A second location opened in the Gahanna neighborhood. A third is planned to open in Westerville Ohio in the spring of 2024 in a renovated former Post Office building. High Bank commits 1% of their revenue from their restaurants and distillery to back local and National partners that support sustaining the planet. They currently craft 2 gins, 6 whiskey’s and todays focus, High Bank Vodka. High Bank Vodka is made from organic wheat and Ohio apples. Read more
