Review: La Pulga Tequila Blanco

La Pulga Tequila Blanco was launched May 2023.  It is named for the open air flee market in Fort Worth Texas.  Sarah Castillo a well respected restauranteur, Taco Heads, and Tinies Mexican Cuisine, Andrew De La Torre, owner of the North Fort Worth market, and Stephen Slaughter a local entrepreneur and real estate developer founded the brand.  La Pulga Blanco is made from 100% blue weber agave hand chopped and cooked in a combination of an autoclave and horno brick ovens.  Once cooled the agave is crushed in a roller mill.  The juice is fermented for 3-6 days and double distilled before bottling with no additives or concentrates.
