Review: Maestro Dobel Diamante
Maestro Dobel Diamante was introduced in the US in 2008. The Maestro Dobel tequila brand was launched in Mexico in 2003. It was created and named after Juan Domingo Beckman Legorreta, the eleventh generation leader of Jose Cuervo Tequilas. Diamante is one of two tequilas that claim to be the original Cristalino tequila. Don Julio 70 is the other. Maestro Dobel is made from 100% agave grown on a family owned single estate. Diamante is crafted from a blend of reposado, anejo, and extra anejo tequilas. All have been aged in Hungarian oak barrels. The spirit then undergoes a proprietary filtration process before bottling.
