Review: Topo Chico Margarita Hard Seltzer Variety Pack
Topo Chico joins Truly and Corona with the launch of their margarita style hard seltzer. Agave has become a popular ingredient in seltzers that can be categorized into four categories. First there were seltzers like Funky Buddha, Mas Agave, and Cacti that were made with agave nectar. Next came seltzers made with tequila like Onda, Mico, Chido, and Mamitas. A third type is Ranch Water seltzers. Some like Painted Donkey are made with tequila, some like Lone River, Texas Ranch Water Co. and Dos Equis with agave nectar. Margarita Style is the latest style. Like the Original Topo Chico Hard Seltzer, it is produced by Molson Coors in partnership with Coca-Cola Company. Coca-Cola acquired the Topo Chico brand in 2017. Top Chico Margarita Hard Seltzer is made from a sugar alcohol base, with filtered carbonated water, lime juice from concentrate, agave syrup, sucralose, natural flavors, and minerals for taste.
